Storms Coming

I remember as a kid many times in the summer months we would throw a blanket on the living room floor, turn out the lights and watch the storms roll through. Good days and guess its what drew me to this photograph of a passing storm along Topsail Island, NC. Saw it and knew i had to paint it!

Well three nights and about 8 hours latet here it is finished! Framing soon and will be available at Woolworth Walk downtown Asheville.
